The End of the Week

So another week draws to an end,

A new experience, another new friend

To break the pace of a determined path

A dampened eye, a friendly laugh.

Hopes for a new week creep round the corner

and ways to live life forever beholden

To changes of direction

and casts of fate

What the next week will leave on my plate

But for now I remember as this week draws by

That this week has been one for you and I
