Been a hard morning already hence this one...



This is it,
Stagnant
Not moving forward
Not hoping for anything new
Just another day
To remind me I havent progressed
Forward or backwards
Upwards or onwards
I Have Stopped
Theres no longing anymore
Just some silent passing
that I am stuck, here
I Have Stopped
I try to remember the dreams
Hopes and aspirations of what was to come
What I was longing for
the excitement of hopes, but
I Have Stopped
My body no longer registers thrills
Its dead to the core
Help me run again to hope of things new
For at the moment all I see
Is a sign that says stop,
stop aspiring, stop hoping, stop holding on to something good
