The Magic Turkey

The Turkey was roasted, stuffed and tasted,

But something must be magic in how it was basted,

As I've opened the fridge everyday since

And the sight of more turkey is making me wince.

We have had it risottoed and cold with our lunch,

Eaten it for breakfast,dinner and lunch 

but still the beast sits there and won't go away.

I think we'll be eating turkey on New Years Day.
