The Grey Train

Dont stand there dividing it
fractionising and subtracting it,
Analysing and quantifying
Adding it or decimalising it,
Dont ask whether its complex, compound,
simple or common,
whether the number at the top
divides with the bottom,
See when I stand before you,
I dont want you to try
to analyse or compute whatever may be inside
What I do want you to do is take that one step
Not hold back or use me as mathematical prep
One thing I will ask
before i lose control
Please take this half .. and make it a whole

This poem was inspired by a conversation with a great friend of mine yesterday re relationships and they just mentioned the 'take this half and make it whole' idea. Await tomorrows poem!!! Its Saturday and the sun is shining so who knows what the day will bring. Happy writing all
